ROSWELL, GA — Funeral services for a Roswell police officer shot and killed in the line of duty Friday have been announced.

Officer Jeremy Labonte was fatally shot while responding to a suspicious person call around 7:15 p.m. near Market Boulevard, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said.
