Summer Sippin’ Winners Announced

It’s been three months of Summer Sippin’ in Roswell and we’re excited to announce the winners of the 2022 “Best Sip in Roswell.” The winner in the alcoholic category is Fresco Cantina Grille’s “Cocomellow Margarita” and the winner in the non-alcoholic category is Pop’s Coffee Company’s “Strawberry Matcha.”

This year’s event went all summer long from June 1 through August 31. 51 locations participated this year with a variety of restaurants, cafes, and breweries all creating their own specialty drink to be added to their menu this summer. 2022 brought a new twist to Summer Sippin’ with two Summer Sippin’ Crawls provided through Bar Crawl USA. Summer Sippin’ continues to grow in popularity among the participating locations and patrons. This year, 1,952 ratings were submitted which is a 63.6% increase over last year and 14,906 drink page views, a 24.5% increase over 2021.

"Hospitality is a key industry in Roswell and, at the heart of that is Roswell's vibrant craft beverage and dining scene," said Steve Stroud, Executive Director of Roswell Inc. "As our fifth largest industry by workforce, Summer Sippin' helps drive traffic and sales during a typically slower season as residents travel."

Patrons rated each sip they tried on SummerSippin.com or on the Summer Sippin’ app. The ratings have been tallied and the winners in each category chosen.

Top Alcoholic Sips:

2. “Pineapple Express” at Hugo’s Oyster Bar
3. “Tango Margarita” at Monterrey Roswell
4. “Helios Margarita” at Vas Kouzina
5. “Bayou Summer Breeze” at Bayou’Q Smokin’ Bistreaux & Bar

Top Non-alcoholic Sips:
1. “Strawberry Matcha” at Pop’s Coffee Co.
2. “Kiwi-Lime” Prickly Pear Quencher” at Scooter’s Coffee
3. “Lavender Rose Bubble Coffee” at Crazy Love Coffee
