Here are the top three stories today in Roswell:

  1. The second floor of the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, which was previously a shared office space between the Georgia Ensemble Theater and the Roswell Historical Society, was transformed into the Roswell History Museum. The museum opened in January. The head curator Elaine DeNiro said "the destination looks at history from all aspects of the city." The Roswell Historical Society operates the museum and its goal was to include all all groups that were involved in Roswell's history. Admission to the museum is free and is open to the public Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. (appenmedia.com)
  2. Cristy Kisner and her husband Sebastian Gracey are the owners of Cristy's Kitchen in Roswell. This café-bakery opened in 2019 and serves healthy foods. Their business didn't get off to a great start due the outbreak of the pandemic. However, in 2021, one of their regulars who was an Instagramer shared their story online. Many people admired their healthy food options and were moved by their struggle to gain more business during that tough time. The family business received $1.2 million in donations. Kisner now has a cookbook coming out this month titled "Cristy’s Kitchen.” She will hold a book signing at the eatery on April 22 beginning at noon. (newsbreak.com)
  3. A town hall meeting was held by North Fulton County commissioners Bob Ellis and Bridget Thorne on March 30 at the county tag office in Alpharetta. The commissioners were joined by Sheriff Patrick Labat, Chief Appraiser Roderick Conley, Public Works Director David Clark and other representatives from the county to lead this public information session. They spoke about how the county has spent about $1 billion on water infrastructure projects in North Fulton during the past couple of years. They also addressed criminal justice issues in the county. After the county's overview of past and future projects, a question-and-answer session was held with the attendees. (appenmedia.com)
