Tow Truck Driver Stealing Cars From Parking Lots: Cops
Roswell police say the driver of the truck is taking cars from parking lots and removing everything, including seats, inside the cars.
ROSWELL, GA — The Roswell Police Department is asking the public to provide any information it can about a tow truck and its driver accused of stealing vehicles from parking lots and stripping those cars down to their bare bones.
Surveillance cameras captured a dark or black green tow truck-style vehicle, which had no markings, drive into the parking lot of Holiday Inn at 2950 Mansell Road around 5:58 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22.
The driver of the truck loaded a person's vehicle on to the back of the truck and left the parking lot around 6:08 a.m., Roswell police said on its Facebook page. The agency added that they have had similar incidents happen in several apartment complexes.

Roswell police spokesperson Lisa Holland said the operatives were stripping the vehicles "right down to the car shell," taking everything, including the seats, from the cars. A couple of the vehicles, she added, were recovered in Cobb County.
"We actually didn’t know how the cars were getting stolen from the other parts of the city until this video surfaced," Holland said, adding the cars were recovered in the same condition.
