Funeral Details Announced For Mother Killed In Wrong-Way Roswell Crash

ROSWELL, GA — The woman killed in a June 27 collision on GA-400 near Holcomb Bridge Road will be buried Friday, her aunt told Patch Wednesday.

Roswell Police said Keara Williams, 27, and Benyounes Mezouar, 55, died in a head-on crash around 3 a.m. on GA-400 near Holcomb Bridge Road. The crash was caused by a driver going the wrong way on the road, according to police.

Williams was an Uber driver and the mother of a 3-year-old girl, her family said in a GoFundMe organized to raise money for the care of her daughter. The family called her death extremely devastating.

As of late Wednesday afternoon, nearly $12,000 of the $20,000 goal had been raised.

"She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, niece and friend. We have truly lost an angel! Now it is time to pick up the pieces of this sudden tragedy. As a family, we are stepping up to take care of Londyn and to do the best we can to assist in her life," the family said.

"We are looking for any contributions that can help us in this time of need. Although the donations won't bring Keara back, anything that you can donate will help us with taking care of Londyn, right now. We appreciate you for taking the time out to hear our story. Thank you in advance."

Dahmir Rivera, 21, was charged in connection with the crash on suspicion of two counts of homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence, reckless driving and wrong-way driving in connection with the fatal crash. Rivera remained in the Fulton County Jail as of Wednesday, according to jail records.

A viewing for Williams will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday at Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home - West End Chapel, 1003 Ralph D. Abernathy Blvd., Latanya Holston, Williams' aunt, told Patch. Her funeral is planned for noon Friday at the funeral home.
