  1. A Savannah musician has composed a tribute song for the 2021 Georgia Bulldogs football team. The song is meant to celebrate the national championship that the team won last year. The song is titled "This Could be the Year" by Josh Johansson. Click to listen. (WJCL News Savannah)
  2. The Savannah Greek Festival will return from Oct. 6 through Oct. 8. The popular festival was canceled in 2020 and was carry-out food in 2021. This year, everything will be back to normal, including the Greek grocery store and the dancing. The festival will be held at St. Paul's Hellenic Center. There is a $5 entry fee on Saturday.   3. The Savannah Philharmonic has appointed a new Director of External Relations. Jamie Coffey will now oversee the organization's public relations and marketing initiatives. She has an extensive resume in nonprofit development and higher education administration. The Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra has 7 concerts lined up for its 2022-2023 season. (Savannah CEO)
