Dorinda Quarshie, former Longhorn Steakhouse manager in Snellville, Receives Prestigious Award

She has been presented with Darden Restaurants' top honor – the Joe R. Lee Diamond Club Award.

Dorinda Quarshie, Managing Partner of the LongHorn Steakhouse in Atlanta, has been presented with Darden Restaurants’ top honor – the Joe R. Lee Diamond Club Award, named after the company’s retired chairman and CEO. Now in its 15th year, the award is presented annually to Managing Partners throughout North America who demonstrate outstanding results by providing LongHorn guests with expertly grilled steaks in a warm, relaxed setting while achieving top financial performance in the company’s previous fiscal year, according to a recent press release.

Quarshie got her start at Longhorn's Snellville location in 2003, where she completed her manager training.  She returned to Snellville in 2006 as manager and worked there until 2009, when she promoted to Managing Partner of the Toco Hills location.

This year, Quarshie joins a group of only 18 Managing Partners selected from over 380 LongHorn Steakhouse restaurants in North America.

She is one of only a handful of women in all the Darden Restaurants to receive the honor.  Quarshie balances being a single mother with her work and community service.

“Dorinda is a leader who understands the importance of doing things the right way. She sets clear expectations, provides regular feedback and celebrates her team’s great performance,” said Dave George, President of LongHorn Steakhouse. “As a result, the Atlanta LongHorn is a superior-performing restaurant where our team delivers friendly, attentive service along with boldly seasoned and expertly grilled steaks that make every guest feel at home.”
