Recent updates on the Rev. Buddy Hoffman's condition is providing both positive and confusing news for his church's congregation.Β
It's been about five weeks since the pastor was first hospitalized on April 15 for an aortic aneurysm.
On Monday, May 20, doctors performed a procedure to open his lungs and to take a closer look at his heart. By late afternoon, the procedures indicated that both the lungs and heart "look good," according to the Grace Church Facebook page.

"No infection to see there," the post continued. "Of course that's also quite frustrating news as we don't yet know the cause."
A fever still remained, along with many questions. The church continues to pray for Hoffman's recovery."

On the Facebook post, the church added: "Let's pray to the God that moves mountains as if they were just Legos, that this too would be gone."
