On Sunday evening at 9:57, officers were dispatched to a home on North Road. Upon arrival, they met a man who escorted them to the victim in a back bedroom.
The victim, 27, was laying on the bed with a towel around his neck. He was wearing a t-shirt with blood stains along the bottom hem area. There was a large gash on his front left forehead.
He said that he was walking home from his job at Moe's along Pharrs Road when he was approached by two men. They struck him in the head and took his wallet, which had $900 in it from his most recent paycheck, his keys and his cell phone. He was then able to make it home.
