Snellville Woman Passes Away at 67

Doraine Crouch, age 67, of Snellville, passed away Wednesday, August 28.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, August 30, in the Snellville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home.  

A member of Lucerne Baptist Church in Lilburn and a Corporate Secretary with McCullough Electric, Mrs. Crouch was a professional grandmother and mom.  She was a graduate of South Gwinnett High School.


Mrs. Crouch is survived by her husband of 38 years, Wayne Crouch, of Snellville; Children: Shari and Hank Ayers, of Grayson; Scott Crouch, of Woodruff, SC; Todd McCart, of Snellville; Tim and Angie McCart, of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law: Sam and Cammy McCullough, of Snellville; Mark and Jeralyn McCullough, of Loganville; sisters and brothers-in-law: Darlene and Charles Johnson, of Loganville; Debbie and T. J. Jenkins, of Dacula; and grandchildren: Tyler Ayers, Shelby King, Chase McCart,  Emily McCart, Chandler McCart and Grayson McCart.

Barbara L. Martin, age 74 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, August 28.

A graveside service will be held at noon Saturday, August 31, at Friendship Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lawrenceville. Pastor Michael Jorgenson will officiate.

A member of Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello, Mrs. Martin was a retired Line Worker for Mead Paper Company. She had many family members in the Snellville area. 

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Ricky and Gail Martin, of Social Circle; brother and sister-in-law: Stanley and Sharon Ethridge, of Brooks; sister and brother-in-law: Donna and Clyde Whidby, of Monticello; grandchildren: Krystyna Martin and Chuck  Furlow; and great-grandchildren: Leona Pollett, Charlie Furlow and Hope Furlow.
