New Restaurant, Shopping Development Planned for Suwanee Area
The project would be on Old Peachtree Road near I-85.

An area of unincorporated Suwanee is set for still more development. An Alabama developer has filed plans to develop a shopping facility near I-85 on Old Peachtree Road.
A spokesperson for the developer's design firm said Thursday (March 28) that the shopping area would be about 8,000 square feet, and would include a restaurant. Plans were approved in February with Gwinnett County.
Mark Kilby of Kimley-Horne in Atlanta said no tenants have been scheduled yet. The facility would be next to Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Que, near the Home Depot at Old Peachtree and Satellite Boulevard. Bodnar Investment Group of Birmingham, Ala., is the developer.
