One-Vehicle Accident Closed Buford Highway Stretch in Suwanee

A one-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer closed a stretch of Buford Highway near McGinnis Ferry Road in Suwanee.
The vehicle encountered trouble at midmorning Monday (April 8) when it slammed on its brakes and its load shifted, forcing it onto the side of the southbound lane, Suwanee Police said.

Northbound and southbound traffic was blocked until midafternoon, while crews worked to get the truck back on the roadway. The scene also was not far from Suwanee Town Center.
