NEW RESTAURANT FOR TOWN CENTER: It was the talk of the town when Olde Towne Tavern & Grille closed just before Christmas. However, a new group has plans for the space this spring.

POSSIBLE NEW RESTAURANT FOR GATEWAY: Did anybody mention restaurants? Seems Suwanee's emphasis on redeveloping the Gateway area near I-85 is getting notice. Signs are that Schlotzky's Deli wants to open in a vacant building across from the police substation.

SCHOOL CAFETERIA GETS PERFECT GRADE: School cafeterias have health checks, too. And North Gwinnett High passed its recent test.

MORE BUSINESS LICENSES: People keep hanging out their shingles in Suwanee. The city is busy issuing new licenses, some for home based businesses.

GEORGIA GUN LAW ADVANCES: There's no lack of news about guns these days. However, Suwanee legislators were among those voting for a bill that would loosen some restrictions on where firearms could be carried.
