• CITY COUNCIL: The city's elected leaders meet Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., at City Hall;
• EARLY SPLOST VOTING: Registered voters can cast ballots this week at the Elections Office in Lawrenceville;
• SATELLITE SPLOST VOTING: Voters will be able to cast SPLOST ballots beginning Saturday at George Pierce Park;

• TREK OR TREAT: The Halloween-themed event will be Saturday at Suwanee Creek Park, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.;

• HERMAN CAIN IN GWINNETT: The Atlanta-based radio talk-show host will broadcast from the Duluth Town Green on Friday.
