• Missing GA Boy Found 200 Feet Inside Sewer Drain Rescued (patch.com) — Suwanee residents are learning how quick-thinking Gwinnett County officers rescued a missing 5-year-old who vanished from Peachtree Ridge Park and ended up 200 feet inside a sewer drain. After following a hunch near a retention pond fence, officers called out names the child would recognize, located him through a drain cover, and safely brought him out without injuries.
   

• Ryan Niblett named a first-team All-American by the FWAA, Michael Taaffe and Anthony Hill also honored (on3.com subscription) — A standout Ohio State defensive tackle from Suwanee Kayden McDonald, has been named a first-team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America, putting his hometown on a national college football stage. The list also honors Texas return specialist Ryan Niblett and several other top players across the country for their 2025 performances.
