"Georgia businesses and consumers are using more communications services such as wireless and broadband," the governor said in a statement. "These jobs will provide opportunities for our citizens in one of the fastest-growing parts of the Georgia economy and will help build critical communications infrastructure and provide customer support."

The new positions announced today are the result of the company's three-year multibillion dollar investment plan to expand its national wireless and wired IP broadband networks.
