Documentary 'Truth in Translation' to Premiere at Carter Center

The free Thursday screening will be the film's U.S. premiere.

The documentary film “Truth in Translation” by the Global Arts Corps will celebrate its U.S. premiere at a free screening on Thursday at the Carter Center.

Showing at 6:30 p.m., the film draws on the experience of South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission to inform citizens and governments in post-conflict countries how help advance peace and democratic development.

Thembi Mtshali-Jones, cast member and elebrated South African artist, singer, actress and playwright

Nick Boraine, associate artistic director and a lead actor of the Global Arts Corps, master teacher/trainer in the Corps’ program in the Balkans, Northern Ireland, and Cambodia

Dr. Alex Boraine,  South African jurist and politician who served as deputy chair of South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission
