Fulton Property Tax Assessments Ready for Mail

The Fulton County Board of Assessors is preparing to mail Annual Notices of Assessment to more than 331,000 property owners. The notices are scheduled to be mailed on Monday May 14. Property owners who disagree with the current year value on the notice have until June 28 to file an appeal.

This year, Fulton County will offer online appeal filing. Property owners are encouraged to utilize the online feature to expedite receipt and processing of appeals. 

Property owners can call and request in-person meetings and telephone conferences with a staff appraiser to discuss and resolve issues pertaining to their property value. Civic groups or neighborhood associations also can request for someone from the Assessors’ Office to come and speak to their group regarding property valuation.
