Neighborhood Planning Unit Approves Liquor License for Burger Tap

Neighborhood Planning Unit F approved a liquor license on Monday for a new burger joint in Morningside.

The planning board approved the license for Burger Tap, a casual burger place

A representative of the restaurant said the restaurant will serve burgers, grilled cheese and fries along with beer selections.

The next step in the liquor license process is a recommendation by the city’s License Review Board. The ultimate decision will lie with the mayor’s office.

The restaurant could open in early November, according to reports.
