Metal beer signs ripped off the wall

A Virginia-Highland barbecue joint was vandalized early Tuesday morning, according to police.

Metal beer signs, a banner and a Florida Gators flag were torn down at , according to a report by CBS Atlanta.

Atlanta Police told Patch and other media outlets that property owner Scott Stern reported a broken flag pole, fence, sign pole and multiple signs pulled down.

Security cameras caught the vandal, who police believe to be in his early 20s.

D.B.A. owner Matt Coggin estimates the burglar caused around $600 in damage, CBS Atlanta reported.

"It's an unusual vandalism being that we have you know a restaurant with TV's and a bar, and it's not something I would expect. It just looked like a confused man," Coggin told CBS.
