Cobb to Participate in National Drug Take-Back Event
From Acworth to Smyrna, law enforcement officials will be ready to collect your unwanted medications this Saturday.

From West Cobb to Douglasville, law enforcement officials will be ready to collect your unwanted medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday as part of the DEA's 6th Annual National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

There will be a number of drop-off sites in and around Cobb, Douglas and Paulding counties.

- Kennesaw

During the five previous Take-Back events, more than 2 million pounds (1,018 tons) of prescription medications were collected, according to the DEA.
