Five Harrison High Students Named National Merit Semifinalists
The five students are now up for 8,000 National Merit Scholarships that will be offered this coming spring.

Five West Cobb students were recentlyΒ named semifinalists forΒ National Merit Scholarships. All five are fromΒ Harrison High School.
The five are among 60 students in theΒ Cobb County School district named semifinalists.Β AccordingΒ to a release issued WednesdayΒ by the district, the seniorsΒ "now have an opportunity to compete for more than 8,000 National Merit Scholarships that will be offered in Spring 2014."
Harrison's honorees wereΒ Kevin T.Β Beteta,Β Robert T. Jordan,Β Cara D. Kirby,Β Caroline C.Β SurrattΒ andΒ Katelin M. Woods.
