Police canines perform a broad range of essential functions, including patrol activities, narcotic detection and bomb detection. The police department is accepting donations to aid in the operation of the K-9 unit. More than 400 volunteers make sure that a hot, nutritious meal is served, and ensure that each client is made to feel special with personal visits. All clients are encouraged and given the opportunity to make a donation, but no person is turned away because of an inability to pay. There are volunteering opportunities, too.
Safety Village—You can order a custom brick with your name or donate to help pay for the completion of the new Safety Village. The bricks will be used in a special walkway so, in the future, you can bring your children and grandchildren to the Safety Village to see your name and their names as permanent legacies. You can create your own message or choose from selected designs for your brick.
