One More Week: Chick-Fil-A Offers Free Breakfast, Uber Gives Deals

WEST COBB, GA -- With crews hard at work repairing Interstate 85, local businesses are helping out where they can to help ease traffic around the city's core. This is the final week that Chick-fil-A will be offering free breakfast to carpoolers to encourage commuters to ride together.

Visit any Atlanta-area Chick-fil-A with three or more people in a vehicle and breakfast is absolutely free up to 7:30 a.m. The deal runs Monday through Friday and ends April 14.

The restaurant will also be offering free meals to the workers of the I-85 site for the duration of repairs, the eatery said on Twitter.

The free breakfast offerings include a Chicken Biscuit, Breakfast Burrito and Egg White Grill or Chick-n-Minis, the eatery said.

Last week, Chick-fil-A offered free chicken biscuits at several MARTA stations, showing up at a different one each day.

Uber is giving riders in metro Atlanta a 25 percent discount on uberPOOL rides this week to encourage users to carpool rather than add more vehicles on the road. And if your ride involves stopping at a MARTA stations, the ride-sharing service will raise the discount to 50 percent.
The Uber deals are good this week from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4 to 8 p.m., according to the AJC.
