Willie Lynch bought an instant Georgia Lottery 20th Anniversary Extravaganza instant ticket at Sharp Shell, 802 Thornton Road, Lithia Springs.
Lynch claimed his prize Oct. 10 at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.

Lynch's winnings became the subject of an offensive Tweet sent out by the Atlanta Journal Constitution on Wednesday. The paper has since apologized.
