School Board Recognizes Local Standouts
A Powder Springs Elementary teacher and a Hillgrove art student are among those who entered the spotlight Thursday night.
The Cobb County Board of Education always takes time at the start of its regular monthly meetings to recognize people in the school system who have notable achievements. During its meeting Thursday night, those honored included teacher Janice Belcher, senior Amy Dao and Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl team.
