Town Hall with Commissioner Set for Wednesday

District Four's Lisa Cupid will be in Powder Springs to listen to residents.

A Cobb County commissioner whose district includes part of West Cobb will be in Powder Springs Wednesday to listen to residents.

District Four Commissioner Lisa CupidΒ will be heading up a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at theΒ Ron Anderson Recreation CenterΒ in Powder Springs.

Cupid represents the southwestern portion of Cobb,Β including the entirety of the county south of Macland Road.

Wednesday’s meeting will come less than a week after one headed by District One’s Helen Goreham. Goreham was at the West Cobb Senior Center on Thursday. Her district covers northwest Cobb, withΒ Macland Road serving as its southern boundary.

Other District One town halls are scheduled for Oct. 17 and Nov. 21.
