Warrant: Man Hits, Chokes Powder Springs Teen
The incident was witnessed by a 7-year-old child in the living room of the Ponderosa Lane home.

A Powder Springs man allegedly struck a 17-year-old boy in the face and choked him.
In an arrest warrant, Cobb police said Melvin Jackson's actions Friday night left the teen with a bloody lip as well as red marks and scratches on his neck.
The incident was witnessed by a 7-year-old child in the living room of the Ponderosa Lane home.
Jackson was arrested Friday night on one count each of second degree cruelty to children and third degree cruelty to children. He was released from the Cobb County Adult Detention Center on Saturday night on $5,000 bond.
