2 Men Arrested In Online 'Predator Sting Operation': Woodstock Police

Woodstock police said the two arrested men believed they were communicating online with female children with plans to have sex.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Two men are in jail following an internet sting operation targeting online predators, according to the Woodstock Police Department.

Abdul Kareem Ali Malih, 23, of Tucker, GA and John Albert Hester, 24, of Sterrett, AL are facing multiple charges including sexual exploitation, obscene internet contact with a minor and criminal attempt child molestation.

Malih has also been charged with criminal attempt aggravated child molestation.

Police said the men were arrested after they arrived at undisclosed locations to meet with a person they believed was a female under age 16 for the purpose of having sex.

The arrests were made in conjunction with the GBI Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Police said there are additional people that will have warrants taken for their arrest once their investigations are complete.
