The SafeSchools Alert app can be downloaded for free from the iPhone App Store and Google Play for Android phones.

WOODSTOCK, GA — The Cherokee County School District has made it easier than ever to report safety concerns to the proper officials. CCSD has introduced a new smartphone app you can use to inform the district about potential security issues weighing on your mind.

“This new app provides one more option for our students, parents, staff and community to ‘See Something, Say Something,’” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower said. “We asked our community for suggestions on how to improve safety and security; increasing opportunities for reporting concerns was a top recommendation, and we’ve made answering that call a top priority.”
