Cherokee County Wants Input On Old Hickory Flat Gym
Cherokee County is seeking input from the public on what type of programming it would like to see at the facility.

CANTON, GA — Cherokee County has released a survey to gather input on how it should use an old gym it's leasing from the Cherokee County School District.
Residents are invited to participate in the survey about their desired uses for the old Hickory Flat gym leased from the system.
You can access the survey by clicking here, and results from the survey will be used to come up with programming after renovations are made to the facility.

The Cherokee County School Board and Board of Commissioners approved a lease agreement for the county government to use the old gym. According to the agreement, this opportunity will allow the county to maintain, improve and use the facility and expand recreation programming for residents.
The old gym is on the property of Hickory Flat Elementary School at 2755 East Cherokee Drive in Canton.
