2 Die After Car Catches Fire In Cherokee Crash
Woodstock Police told Patch officers at the scene found the two people inside of the burning car Wednesday.
WOODSTOCK — Two people died Wednesday morning after their car caught fire at the intersection of Highway 92 and Springfield Drive, Woodstock Assistant Police Chief Mark Hand told Patch.
Hand said when officers arrived at the single-vehicle crash, they found a Tesla sedan on fire with two people inside of the car. Those who died were not identified Wednesday.
During the crash, a power pole and a traffic control box were damaged, he said. Both were being repaired as of early noon.

Hand said the cause of the crash is being investigated.
