Here are the top three stories in Woodstock-Towne Lake today:
- A Woodstock collectibles store was burglarized on Sunday morning. About 1,000 trading cards were taken from BT Collectibles on Rose Creek Drive during the break in, but the cash register and other items in the store were left behind. The items stolen were from the first few display cases and included Pokémon, basketball and vintage cards. The combined worth is over $100,000. The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is working through the investigation and on the hunt for surveillance video to aid their efforts. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
- The Woodstock Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a 15-year-old female that has gone missing. Marley Boehrienger, 5-foot-5 and 110 pounds, was last seen at The Outlet Shoppes in Woodstock around 2 p.m. on Wednesday. If you know where she is or can help in the case, please contact the police department at 678-493-4080 or 9-1-1. As a note, there has been no update made regarding the two missing teenagers from earlier this week, but the official posts about their cases have been removed. (Woodstock Police Department via Facebook)
- The Cherokee Sheriff's Foundation has calendars for you, benefitting the Cherokee Sheriff's Office (CSO) Christmas Joy program. Christmas Joy provides gifts to those less fortunate during the holiday season via children's holiday shopping excursions and the delivery of comfort items to local senior citizens in need. There are two calendars available, one that features CSO K-9 Units and one that features the CSO SWAT team, choose one or both!
