Elm Street Presents 'Madagascar, Jr.'
This show, which is perfect for audiences of all ages, runs Nov. 9-11

WOODSTOCK, GA — Elm Street Cultural Arts Village on Nov. 9 will journey beyond Woodstock with the opening night of "Madagascar Jr.," a fun and fresh musical adaptation of the popular DreamWorks film.
The film’s characters come to life as they escape their cozy life at the zoo to live in the wild in this production led by Elm Street’s stars of tomorrow.
“When I first read this show, I was engulfed by the comedic chaos that comes from a group of dynamic animals all searching for their idea of home,” said Director Teundras Oaks. “As comedic as their adventure is, I was stopped at the small moments of sincerity and met with the themes of overcoming fear and accepting the new normal.”

Oaks has challenged her young cast with this beast of a musical to bring humor and life to these larger than life animated characters.
"Week after week I have seen this cast step out of their comfort zone and be pushed to new limits that have now become a standard for them rather than an exception," Oaks said.
