
WOODSTOCK, GA — There were no injuries in a Wednesday night fire that damaged a Dials Drive home in unincorporated Cherokee County, fire officials said.
Both the Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services and the Woodstock Fire and Rescue responded to the scene around 8:45 p.m. Calls dispatched to the fire crews stated a grill and back deck were on fire, according to the county fire department.
Flames and smoke were coming from the home when firefighters arrived. No one was inside of the home at the time, fire officials said.

The fire shut down Dials Drive for about three hours while the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office assisted with traffic.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
