GA Woman Falls 136 Feet, Dies At Ohio State Graduation: Reports

The Georgia mother was attending her daughter's college graduation when she fell from Ohio Stadium, per media reports.

COLUMBUS, OH — A mother who fell to her death Sunday while attending her daughter's graduation at Ohio State University was from Woodstock, reports say.

The Columbus Dispatch reported Larissa Brady, 53, was pronounced dead near Ohio Stadium in an "apparent suicide."

Brady had been attending the ceremony, where her daughter was receiving a bachelor's degree, with her son and husband, the Dispatch reported.

After telling her family she wanted to move to a higher seat, the Dispatch reported Brady climbed over a stadium wall.

The fall from the stadium is 136 feet tall, the Associated Press reported.

Ohio State spokesperson Ben Johnson told media that police believe Brady's death was not accidental and that foul play was not suspected, the Associated Press reported.

The graduation went on as planned, per media reports.
