The Rotary Club of Towne Lake's fourth annual tournament will be held Friday, Nov. 9.

WOODSTOCK, GA — The Rotary Club of Towne Lake and its members are preparing to take part in the organization's largest fundraiser that provides financial support to various nonprofits in Cherokee County.

Some community service projects Towne Lake Rotarians participate in include monthly delivery of Never Alone food and toiletry boxes to Colbert Square, a Woodstock-based independent senior living facility; financial support to send less fortunate children age-appropriate reading material every month through Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy; and Thanksgiving meal preparation and delivery to Goshen Valley Boys Ranch.
“I can’t say enough about how rewarding it is to deliver meals to Colbert Square every month," Rotarian Robin Wright said. "I look forward to meeting up at NeverAlone with my fellow Rotarians and visiting with the residents of Colbert Square in Woodstock. The residents are so thankful that we get hugs from almost everyone we deliver to. It’s a great way to spend a Saturday morning.”
The Rotary Club of Towne Lake meets each Thursday at noon at The Tavern at Towne Lake for lunch meetings.
