Here are the top four stories in Woodstock-Towne Lake today:
- The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is looking for information regarding another runaway in Woodstock. Lily Bartolero, 14, was reported missing on February 2 but reached out by phone to her family yesterday morning. She was last seen around Township Drive around 7 p.m. the evening prior. Bartolero is described as a white female, about 5-foot-10 and 120 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. If you see her or know of her whereabouts, please contact the Sheriff's Office at 770-928-0239 or 9-1-1. (Cherokee Sheriff's Office via Facebook)
- A community together can do some wonderful things. Thanks to the efforts of several groups, there is a new vegetable garden next to the gym at Arnold Mill Elementary School. Its future harvests will be donated to food pantries around the county. The Garden Club at Arnold Mill ES and Boy Scout Pack 625 put in the hard work. A grant from the Cherokee County Educational Foundation, lumber from Super Slab Store, LLC, mulch from Discount Express Tree Service, soil from Cloud Supply and a hand from the Trayletaah Garden Club helped bring the project all together.
