Holly Springs To Host Christmas Tree Lighting, Parade
The city's tree lighting ceremony will be held Friday, Nov. 30 while its 14th annual Christmas Parade is set for Saturday, Dec. 1.
HOLLY SPRINGS, GA — The city of Holly Springs on Friday will kick off the holiday season with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
Residents are invited to the historic Train Depot for the celebration that begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30. Chorus students from Holly Springs Elementary School and Sequoyah High School will provide the music before the community Christmas tree lighting. The night will wrap up with hot apple cider and Christmas cookies.
The fun in Holly Springs continues at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 when the 14th Christmas parade marches down Holly Springs Parkway. The parade will begin at Holly Springs Parkway's intersection with Mountain Brook Drive and continue south until it reaches the Train Depot.

Following the parade you are once again invited back to the Depot for complimentary sweets from Smallcakes Truckcakery, Christmas crafts, and pictures with Santa Claus. Each family will receive one 5-inch-by-7-inch and two 4-inch-by-6-inch photos that will be printed onsite for free.
Please note that Holly Springs officials are watching the weather reports for the end of the week, as a chance of rain is predicted. Both events will be held rain or shine, unless weather conditions become unsafe.
