WOODSTOCK, GA — Independence Day is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on in and around Woodstock for 2023.

Where: The Park at City Center, 101 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock

When: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., July 4 (A fireworks show will begin at dusk.).

The City of Woodstock and Carmichael Development are hosting the event. A freedom run will kick off the event at 7 a.m. while a parade will follow at 10 a.m. at Woodstock Elementary School, with a festival following at 11 a.m. at The Park at City Center. A fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m. in the area of Highway 92 and Interstate 575.
