- The Cherokee County School District (CCSD) is currently accepting applications for the parent academy program. The annual program is free and helps caregivers in our county learn more about the school district and ways to get involved in your children's school. Opportunities for engagement include school and district office visits, question and answer sessions with School Board members and other district business. Sessions will start up in October and applications are due by September 6. (CCSD via Facebook)
