Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mrs. Aprile made my grandson feel welcome into a new school environment from day one. She encouraged him and made him comfortable. Within a couple of weeks, I felt she knew him as well as I did. She helped him find a voice and a self confidence he had never felt at school before. She saw his strengths, and more importantly, helped him to see them as well. There was never, not even one day, when he said he did not want to go to school.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Mrs. Aprile is the ultimate professional educator. She cares for each student, and makes them feel appreciated. Mrs. Aprile met each student where they were academically and moved them as far as they could go in the year’s time. If your child is lucky enough to be assigned to her classroom, consider yourself blessed!
