Woodstock Crash Kills Motorcyclist In Parking Deck
Speed contributed to the single-vehicle crash that killed a 19-year-old man in Woodstock, police say.
WOODSTOCK, GA — A 19-year-old man is dead after a motorcycle crash this week in the City Center East parking deck downtown, Woodstock Police said Wednesday.
Officers arrived Tuesday evening to find friends rendering aid to the man after speed contributed to the single-vehicle crash, police said.
However, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. He was not identified.

“The Woodstock Police Department extends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased,” Woodstock Police Interim Chief Brian Aligood said in a news release. “Our officers and partner agencies remain committed to conducting a thorough investigation.”
Police said the sixth floor of the City Center East parking deck will remained closed until further notice, pending the ongoing investigation.
