Woodstock Lions Club Host City of Woodstock Employee Breakfast
WOODSTOCK LIONS CLUB HOST A CITY OF WOODSTOCK EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION BREAKFAST DURING GEORGIA CITIES WEEK

Woodstock, GA -- The Woodstock Lions Club hosted a breakfast for City of Woodstock Employees on Tuesday, 4/22. The appreciation breakfast was in celebration of Georgia Cities Week.
Coty Thigpen, Woodstock Deputy City Manager, worked with Lions’ Paul D. Smith and Gopinath Govindaraj to coordinate the event. Gopinath said “this morning we served over 120 City of Woodstock employees’ breakfast to thank City of Woodstock employees for their work in making Woodstock one of the best cities in Metro Atlanta to live in. In addition, we took breakfast to three of the City of Woodstock Fire Stations.”
City of Woodstock Mayor Michael Caldwell was in attendance. The mayor thanked the city employees for their continued hard work and the Woodstock Lions Club for hosting the appreciation breakfast.

The breakfast was sponsored by the Woodstock Lions Club with generous donations from Costco, Starbucks, Burger King, McDonalds, Bojangles, and Truitt’s Chick-Fil-A. Gopinath stated that the donations from these businesses was key to a successful and fulfilling appreciation breakfast.
The Woodstock Lions Club has Twenty-Eight members and meets on the fourth Monday each month at 7:00 pm at The Tavern at Towne Lake. Lions’ clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
