Woodstock Middle Educator Awarded $1,000 Scholarship
Victoria Corr, a Woodstock resident, was awarded the Charles "Coach" Cooper Scholarship to apply towards her advanced degree in science.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Victoria Laine Corr, an educator at Woodstock Middle School, is the recipient of the Charles “Coach” Cooper Scholarship awarded by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators Foundation.
The $1,000 scholarship is awarded through the PAGE Foundation to a PAGE member pursuing an advanced degree in science. Corr is a resident of Woodstock, and is pursuing a doctorate in science education at Georgia State University in Atlanta.
The Charles “Coach” Cooper Scholarship was established as an endowed scholarship through the generosity of Coach Cooper’s widow, Jean. Coach Cooper was a well-known and outstanding educator and coach.

“PAGE and the PAGE Foundation are honored to be able to offer this scholarship in Mr. Cooper’s chosen field
in an effort to help other educators advance their knowledge in the area of science," said PAGE Executive Director Craig Harper stated.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, the PAGE Foundation’s core business is fundraising in support of Professional Association of Georgia Educators initiatives that provide professional learning, build leadership qualities, and enhance professional competence and confidence.

The foundation also works to encourage and receive charitable support benefiting PAGE’s competitive academic programs such as PAGE STAR Student and STAR Teacher, PAGE Georgia Academic Decathlon and the PAGE Academic Bowl for Middle Grades. Additionally, the foundation works closely with PAGE to provide scholarships for aspiring and veteran educators.
