The Woodstock native was crowned the season 22 winner Tuesday night on NBC. He was a member of Team Blake.

"I think the biggest lesson that I'm going to take away from being coached by the Blake Shelton is be myself, be yourself and be who you are," Leatherwood said before the winner was announced. "Number two, have fun, man. We're all here, and this is the greatest experience I've had in my life, so, hey, thank you, coach."
