'The Flash' Actor Ezra Miller Arrested In Hawaii On Assault Charge
Police say Ezra Miller was at a house gathering and threw a chair at a woman when he was asked to leave, leaving her with a half-inch cut.

PĀHOA, HI — Ezra Miller, the actor who played Barry Allen, also known as The Flash in the DC Extended Universe movie "Justice League," has once again been arrested in Hawaii.
An irate Miller, 29, of Vermont, was at a house gathering in Pāhoa around 1 a.m. Tuesday and was asked to leave, police said. Miller threw a chair and hit a 26-year-old woman on the forehead, leaving her with a half-inch cut, police said.
Puna patrol officers were called to the home for an assault report in the Leilani Estates subdivision in lower Puna. The woman refused treatment for the gash.

Miller, who identifies as they/them, was subsequently arrested and faces a second-degree assault charge. He was found on a roadway during a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 130 and Kukula Street in Kea‘au.
Miller was released pending further investigation after police conferred with the prosecutors around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

In late March, South Hilo police arrested Miller and said they yelled obscenities and grabbed a microphone from a 23-year-old woman who was singing karaoke. Miller later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts, police said.
Miller, a native of Wyckoff, New Jersey, who now owns a farm in Vermont, became aggravated over a karaoke rendition of "Shallow," by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, The Associated Press reported.
Hawaii Police Assistant Chief Kenneth Quiocho told AP in March that police had been called in Hilo 10 times over Miller's behavior since March 7. They were reportedly minor or small incidents, such as filming people at a gas station, refusing to leave a restaurant sidewalk and arguing with people.
Miller plays Credence Barebone, aka Aurelius Dumbledore, in the film "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore." His arrests come after video appeared to show Miller grab a woman's throat and throw her to the ground in April 2020.
That incident happened at a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland and Miller was escorted out of the bar.
Miller also briefly appeared in a clip shown at the 2022 Academy Awards. The scene, from Zack Snyder's "Justice League," won "most cheer-worthy moment," a new award which was voted on by viewers at home.
