• Police seek man who allegedly fled scene of wreck (mauinews.com) — A 19-year-old man from Makawao is in critical condition after a head-on collision early Wednesday on Haleakala Highway in Pukalani, and police say the other driver fled on foot. Maui police are searching for 31-year-old Kaleo Kubo, wanted on a no-bail warrant, and are asking anyone with information to contact MPD and reference report number 25-035719.
