4 Idaho College Students Killed: What To Know
Police have identified the victims as Ethan Chapin, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Kaylee GonCalves, 21.

MOSCOW, ID — More details have been released in the killings of four University of Idaho students as officials piece together what led to the gruesome scene.
The deaths of the four students found dead near campus Sunday afternoon are being labeled a homicide, according to the Moscow Police Department.
Police said they initially responded to a call about an unconscious person, but found four people dead at the scene. Police and the City of Moscow released additional information through a series of news releases, the most recent being shared Tuesday.

A Knife Was Likely Used In The Attack
Investigators have not found any weapons, but believe that an edged weapon such as a knife was used, the city said.
The Victims Are From Idaho, Washington, and Arizona
Police have identified the victims as Ethan Chapin, 20, of Conway, Washington, Madison Mogen, 21, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Xana Kernodle, 20, of Avondale, Arizona and Kaylee GonCalves, 21, of Rathdrum, Idaho.

There Is No Threat To The Community
Officials believe the attack was isolated and targeted, according to the city. A local official told The New York Times that the killings were a “crime of passion.”
There Are No Suspects In Custody
Investigators are working on a timeline of events on November 12 and early November 13 in an attempt to identify persons of interest, according to the City of Moscow.
