Bare Life’s Beginning

Bare Life was founded just a few years ago by Ali Lazowski after being diagnosed with IBS, Hashimoto’s disease, Thyroid cancer, and Lyme disease during her junior year of college. Her chronic conditions and diseases inspired a change in her diet. As she looked to find foods that were gluten-free, dairy-free and refined-sugar free, she realized the options were quite limited, and either did not taste good or did not cover multiple allergens.

Her frustration regarding the lack of foods available – not only for her, but for the millions of people who live with allergen sensitivities - led her to take matters into her own hands. She created the original Bare Life hot cocoa recipe in her kitchen using only five ingredients. The delicious results led to the founding of Bare Life.
